Dust Extraction Hose Stepped Blast Gate - 100mm to 63mm
This blast gate has a 100mm outside diameter port on one side and a 63mm outside diameter port on the other side to accept industry standard dust hoses. It also features an integral mounting bracket with four mounting points for fixing to a wall. It is designed for extraction systems where more than one machine is linked to the dust extractor where the dust hose is being stepped from 100m to 63mm. To maintain the optimum air flow you simply close off the blast gate to machines not in use.
This hose fitting is made from a thermoplastic polymer, which is impact resistant, has structural strength and stiffness and will not flex or distort under pressure. It has excellent low temperature properties and will perform in extremely cold workshops down to -40°C. The internal bore is smooth to ensure the smooth passage of dust. As all of our fittings are made to exacting and tight tolerances to prevent air loss, a top tip is to use a washing up liquid as a lubricant when initially installing. ©
